Alabama vs Auburn Winner Is Obvious, Says ESPN

The Alabama vs Auburn winner is obvious, says ESPN.

Coming out of this weekend of college football, the big story is obviously Tua Tagovailoa being out for the year and what that means for Alabama’s championship aspirations.

Obvious the Crimson Tide is a significantly worse team with him out, but the show must go on.

Next weekend Nick Saban and Co. will take on Western Carolina, and they should be able to win that game handily even without their Heisman-level quarterback.

It’s what will happen in the Iron Game that most are interested in now, though.

With Tua out, will Alabama be able to hang with Auburn?

According to ESPN, the answer is “yes.”

Per ESPN’s Football Power Index, the Crimson Tide have a 68.3 percent chance of winning that outing.

Of course, it is worth remembering that Alabama was also viewed as the favorite heading into the LSU game – and we all remember how that turned out.

Will Alabama ultimately be able to beat out Auburn? We’ll find out soon enough.
