Achraf Hakimi Allegedly Outwits Wife By Putting Assets In Mom’s Name
A soccer star found himself in the headlines this week after allegedly outwitting his wife in divorce proceedings by putting his assets in his mother’s name.
Achraf Hakimi, a right-back for Paris Saint-Germain, became the topic of international conversation over the past few days when details about his and his wife’s divorce began trending online.
Per the details that have been floating around, it seems as though the wife, Hiba Abouk, found herself on the wrong end of the proceedings when she allegedly didn’t realize that Hakimi had been working with his mother to protect his money and other holdings.
“[Abouk] initially sought half of Hakimi’s €70 million net worth in the divorce settlement, but it was discovered that all his assets were in his mother’s name,” one report noted
“Because he is not worth a lot on paper due to this loophole, he can expect financial support from Abouk, a Spanish model and actress, who has an estimated net worth of $3 million.”

It is worth noting, there has yet to be any official corroboration of the numbers or facts of this case. It is all just internet conjecture at this point. Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped it from going mega-viral over the week.
