2020 NFL Mock Draft: New England Patriots
The New England Patriots may be planning to make an interesting move in the looming 2020 NFL Draft.
That move? Taking a promising young quarterback who has flown under the radar up to this point.
With Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer already on the depth chart, James Morgan of Florida International may be next on their “to add” list.
“They will cast a wide net, as usual,” according to ESPN.
“One example: League sources say Florida International quarterback James Morgan had a videoconference meeting with the team.
“Morgan, who grew up in Green Bay and naturally modeled his game after Pro Football Hall of Fame QB Brett Favre, is an intriguing prospect who scouts say performed well in the East-West Shrine Game.”
Will the Patriots ultimately end up making this pick in the 2020 NFL Draft? We’ll find out in April.
