2 New NFL Teams Suddenly Interested In Colin Kaepernick

Colin Kaepernick has suddenly become the hottest available free agent quarterback on the market.

Earlier this week, the 34-year-old made headlines when the Las Vegas Raiders opted to give him a tryout. Expectations weren’t high, given that Kaepernick has been out of the league since 2016, but apparently he overdelivered.

As it turns out, the Raiders are now not the only squad vying for Kaepernick’s services.

“Per a source with knowledge of the situation, two other teams were showing interest in Kaepernick before the Raiders workout,” reported Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. “The question now becomes whether one or both of those teams will give Kaepernick a workout now.”

Kaepernick hasn’t had this much momentum for an NFL return in a very long time. Heck, back in March he was begging one particular squad for an opportunity – to no avail.

Now he is a hot commodity.

Whether all this will actually turn into a legit gig for Kaepernick remains to be seen, but it’s a good start. Plus, he would no doubt rather be in the headlines for this than what landed him in the news back in December – the thing that he allegedly made Brittany Renner do for him.

Once upon a time Kaepernick was a deeply talented quarterback. Definitely good enough to be in the NFL in some capacity.

Unfortunately, a long time has passed since then. Six years on the shelf is a rough amount of time to be out.

Will Kaepernick get one last chance to return to the NFL?

Time will tell.
