2 Los Angeles Lakers Players Test Positive For Coronavirus
Two Los Angeles Lakers players have tested positive for coronavirus, according to a statement released by the team.
The Lakers have become one of five NBA teams to have players test positive for the pandemic that is sweeping the globe.
The first, obviously, was the Utah Jazz – when center Rudy Gobert and guard Donovan Mitchell tested positive.

The others are the Detroit Pistons with Christian Wood, four Brooklyn Nets players including Kevin Durant and Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics.
Thus far, the Lakers players who were infected have not been named. That will likely change over the next few days.
On a positive note – neither of the Lakers players are reportedly experiencing any symptoms. Currently both are under the care of the team’s physician.
