Zion Williamson Return Date To Pelicans Revealed

Zion Williamson’s return date to the New Orleans Pelicans revealed.

Williamson, 19, entered the league this year as the most highly-touted prospect since LeBron James.

Unfortunately, after a brief preseason run, Williamson was sidelined for the entire start of the NBA regular season due to an injured knee.

The initial prognosis was that he would be out six to eight weeks.

This past Thursday, TNT NBA analyst Reggie Miller revealed when fans can finally expect to see Williamson back on the court.

Per Miller, Williamson will be back at some point “mid-December.”

If that ends up happening, then it would fit snugly into the six to weight week estimate that was announced when the Pelicans revealed that Williamson would miss the start of the season.

New Orleans started the year with a horrendous 1-7 mark, but have since ticked five wins in their last seven games.

Adding Williamson back into the fold next to Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball could turn the Pelicans into a real sleeper in the West.
