Zion Williamson’s NBA debut is set for Wednesday, January 22.

The top pick in this year’s draft, Williamson has missed the entirety of the regular season thus far.

Back in October, following a very impressive preseason, Williamson announced he needed surgery to repair his meniscus.

The initial timetable for Williamson’s return was six to eight weeks. However, New Orleans opted to keep him out longer as a precautionary measure.

There were fears that due to the severity of the initial ailment, Williamson’s size and the way he plays, the likelihood of re-aggravating the injury were high.

That all changed this month, when the Pelicans announced that Williamson was finally ready to return.

Tonight, Williamson and his squad will take on the San Antonio Spurs live from the Smoothie King Center.

The game will be available on ESPN at 6:30 p.m. PST, as the worldwide leader flexed it upon learning of Williamson’s scheduled return.

Anyone without access to ESPN can also watch the outing on Reddit. Simply go to the Reddit homepage, move up to the “search” box, and do a search for “Pelicans Spurs livestream.”

From there, viewers will be presented with a myriad of options.

The beauty of Reddit is that fans upvote and downvote the streams based on quality, so the odds of finding a good one are pretty good.

Coming into this year, Williamson was hyped as the best rookie prospect since LeBron James. That is obviously very lofty praise.

Will Williamson be able to live up to it?

We’ll find out once and for all come this evening.
