XFL Player Vomits On Field During Game

An XFL player vomited on the field during the game on Saturday afternoon.

The XFL returned to prime time after a two-decade absence this weekend.

Nearly 20 years after Vince McMahon spent $35 million trying to put forth a credible alternative to the NFL, the WWE Chairman and CEO is back at it again.

Things got off to quite a start on Saturday when the DC Defenders took on the Seattle Dragons in front of a packed crowd.

Most of the attention on the game was the result of former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones, who was arguably the biggest name the XFL was trotting out.

Ultimately, Jones delivered on the big stage. The former Buckeye star led the Defenders to a 31-19 victory, with the DC defense forcing three turnovers in the process.

In the next game of the day, the Los Angeles Wildcats took on the Houston Roughcats.

Without a name like Jones to steal headlines, these two teams made highlights in a different sort of way.

Namely, the most viral moment of the day came when a player vomited on the field during an extra point attempt.

Ultimately, the game continued without much of a bump in the road after that.

Currently, with one half in the books, the Roughnecks lead the Wildcats 18-17.
