The winner of Ohio State vs Clemson is very clear, says ESPN.

Heading into bowl season one of the most highly-anticipated games looming is a showdown between the Buckeyes and Tigers.

Unlike the College Football Playoff game between LSU and Oklahoma, Ohio State and Clemson is seen as more of battle between equals.

The Buckeyes have looked like one of the most dominant teams in the nation for most of the year. Clemson is the defending champ. The storylines write themselves for this one.

Heading into the big game, many have argued that Clemson should actually be a heavier favorite.

Meyer disagrees with that.

“I think it is [an advantage for Ohio State]. Ohio State fell behind by 14 points at halftime to Wisconsin,” he told Colin Cowherd.

“Coach [Ryan] Day and Justin Fields had never been in that situation. And to come back and fight and make the halftime adjustments.

“That’s the sign of a good staff, a good coach and a great leader. I think that gives them an advantage. The ACC is not good. The ACC is really struggling.”

Meyer is certainly not the first person this year to make the case that the Big Ten is a far superior conference to the ACC.

Will that logic hold up in determining who is better between Clemson and Ohio State?

Time will tell.
