Chicago White Sox star Tim Anderson found himself embroiled in controversy this past week.
Anderson, who married Bria Anderson back in 2017, has been widely regarded as a family man up to this point. He and his wife presently have two children together.
Bria has always been very open on social media about her happy marriage. This past week, she published this post to Instagram:

As per usual, she received a warm reception for it.
But then things took a turn.
The very same weekend, roughly 19 hours after Bria’s post, a social media influencer who goes by Dejah Lanee posted something on Instagram that seemed to suggest that Tim was the father of her baby:

Yikes.
Eagle-eyed fans also couldn’t help but notice that Dejah Lanee had the No. 7 tattooed on her chest – Tim’s number.

Again, yikes.
And just when it seemed like this situation couldn’t possibly get any worse for the Anderson family, a new twist to the saga emerged.
According to BSO, a second woman is now stepping forward.
“Tim Anderson is being tagged as ‘Tristan of Baseball’ after a second woman came forward and alleged that she’s been his sidepiece for good five years,” the gossip site reported.

Obviously infidelity in sports is nothing new. Everyone from Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James to Edmonton Oilers sensation Connor McDavid has been touched by it in recent weeks.

But it’s never nice when this occurs.
It breaks apart families and relationships in a brutal way.
To date, neither Tim nor his wife have stepped forward to confront these claims.
Time will tell if that changes in the coming days and weeks.
