The Philadelphia Eagles didn’t have much trouble beating the Minnesota Vikings 24-7 on Monday night.

With that win Philly improved to 2-0 on the year while Minnesota dropped to 1-1.

Because of how largely uncompetitive the outing was, part of the way through fans began searching for something to look at other than the on-the-field product.

That led to one particularly humorous sequence going viral:

Reactions to the moment flooded in immediately:

In a week where Erin Andrews’ outfit choice made headlines, a Miami Dolphins cheerleader blew up online for her provocative photos and Ja’Marr Chase’s new girlfriend emerged from the woodwork amid his baby mama drama – this most recent incident is just par for the course.

Big picture, this week’s showdown provided a fascinating snapshot into where both the Eagles and Vikings currently are.

Philly seems really well-positioned to win the NFC East this year. Yes, the New York Giants are 2-0 as well – but they feel like they are overachieving at the moment. The Eagles, meanwhile, genuinely seem like the most complete squad in the division right now.

Best of all – they have a relatively easy schedule. It really wouldn’t be all that shocking to see the Eagles finish their 2022-23 season with 12+ wins.

Minnesota, meanwhile, is tougher to get a read on. Talent-wise the Vikings theoretically have enough of it to compete, but they often struggle to put it all together. And with showdowns looming against the likes of the New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots – the road forward looks bumpy.

Come season’s end, it really wouldn’t be all that shocking to see the Vikings staring at teams that actually made the playoffs much like that fan of theirs seemed to be staring at the Eagles fan’s butt.
