Video Of Freddie Kitchens Getting Fired By Browns Goes Viral

A video of Freddie Kitchens getting fired by the Browns has gone viral.

Kitchens, 45, was fired by Cleveland after just a single, underwhelming season with the team.

Following the Browns’ 33-23 defeat to a two-victory Cincinnati Bengals squad, Kitchens was given the boot.

“I would like to thank Freddie for his dedication and efforts this past season,” the statement announcing his termination read.

“We are disappointed in our results and feel a change is necessary. Freddie is a good man and good football coach. We wish he and his family nothing but success.”

With this firing, Kitchens became the second head coach in franchise history to be shown the door after one season. He share that dubious honor with Rob Chudzinski.

Several days after Kitchens’ firing, a video showing him leaving the facility one last time leaked out. With the internet being what it is, it immediately went viral.

In his lone campaign as the Browns head coach Kitchens finished with a 6-10 record.

  1. SAD As a Brown fan,for over 50 years, had exspectations, not quite like people said ,in the beginning of year. But being relevant functional and disciplined. Did not happen

  2. VERY SAD, AND ANOTHER MISTAKE BY THE CLEVELAND BROWNS TO NOT GIVE HIM A SECOND YEAR. TOO BAD THE OWNERS CAN’T BE FIRED. FREDDIE WILL FIND ANOTHER JOB AND HE WILL EXCEL. STUPID BROWNS.

  3. Not a good feeling I’m sure, but at least he won’t be worrying about putting food on the table( paying for all the donuts on his tab) or paying bills for awhile.

  4. That’s a tough Division, noone can get me to believe otherwise. The Browns And Bengals have kinda been the step children for some time now.
But, if you can’t even give a guy more than just one year to get the “ship righted” and the locker room United and the overall culture being 100% positive???
You shouldn’t own a NFL Franchise.

  5. This was the right decision. Freddie had no experience as a head coach, and it showed. I didn’t want to waste another year with all of this talent. They shouldn’t have hired him in the first place. Let’s get a guy like McCarthy & right this ship! I still want to wish Freddie well. I’m sure he’s a good guy. He’s just not the one to lead this team.
