Vanessa Bryant’s Mom Sofia Laine Says She Kicked Her Out Of Home

Vanessa Bryant’s mother Sofia Laine made some serious allegations against her daughter recently.

During an interview conducted in Spanish due to air on Monday, Laine claims that her daughter took her car away and kicked her out of the house.

Just a few months ago, there were multiple reports of Vanessa leaning on Laine following the tragic death of her husband Kobe and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna in a helicopter accident.

Laine was described as Vanessa’s “rock” by at least one media outlet.

“Vanessa, 37, ‘is incredibly close to her mom and her mom has been her rock throughout the past few weeks,’” Us Weekly wrote.

Now it appears their relationship has unraveled.

Laine recently participated in an interview that will air in full next week, but was previewed in an Instagram clip on Saturday.

During the interview, Laine suggests that her daughter told her to leave their home and demanded that she return a vehicle as well.

“You need to leave my house and give me my car,” she allegedly said.

It is unclear what led to the blow-up between the two.

This has been a rough year for the Bryant family.

Kobe, Gianna and seven others died in a helicopter crash this past January.

The incident rocked the entire sports community to its core.

Vanessa has been handling the entire thing with as much grace as anyone could given the circumstances, so it will be interesting to see how she opts to respond to her mother’s decision to publicly speak out like this.

The full interview from Laine is due to air on September 21.
