Urban Meyer Offers Surprising Kobe Bryant Tribute
Urban Meyer offered a surprising Kobe Bryant tribute this week.
Nothing speaks to Bryant’s impact on sports as a whole more than the fact that the tributes he has received have extended beyond the basketball community.
Football players, tennis players, actors, musicians – everyone has lined up to send thoughts and prayers to Bryant’s family.
The most recent person to do this is Meyer, one of the best coaches in college football history.
In a succinct message on Twitter, Meyer expressed what a huge shock it is to have lost Bryant, and how much he meant to the world.
Elite warrior. I have always used you as an example of a great leader and competitor for all of my teams over the years. Was honored to finally meet you a few weeks ago. My heart goes out to your family and loved ones. Rest In Peace, Kobe. pic.twitter.com/kiEd8uN7Ke
