Tyler Herro has been on an incredible run over the past few months. Seemingly overnight, he went from unknown rookie out of Kentucky to legitimate, unquestionable household name. In the process, he became a central figure in the Miami Heat’s run to the NBA Finals and developed something of a cult following for his taste in women.

As such, it should come as no surprise that Herro’s offseason activities are being closely watched and scrutinized by his fans. This week, he unveiled something new to his followers while on vacation with his girlfriend, Katya Elise Henry: fresh tattoos.

Fans were very divided regarding the quality of Herro’s ink. More specifically – they were divided between their love of the player and their hatred for what he has done to his body.

On the bright side, Henry doesn’t seem to mind the tattoos. In fact, it looks like she is very much enjoying their trip.

Herro’s vacation aside, he is also in the news for some interesting basketball-related happenings.

Apparently there was some chatter this week regarding Miami possibly sending him to the Indiana Pacers in return for Victor Oladipo, but it doesn’t look like that will happen. The Heat simply think too highly of him.

This past year, Herro averaged 13.5 points on 42.8 percent shooting, 4.1 rebounds and 2 assists per game during the regular season.

In the playoffs, those numbers ticked up to 16.4 points on 43.8 percent shooting, 5.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.

If Herro ultimately makes the sort of progress this offseason that many feel like he can, he could turn into a legitimate force in the league for years to come.
