Tua Tagovailoa Makes Decision Regarding Alabama Return

Tua Tagovailoa made a decision regarding his Alabama return, and he will announce it on Monday.

Tagovailoa came into the 2019 season widely recognized as one of the best players in the nation.

He was considered a lock to go within the first three picks in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Unfortunately, a season-ending hip injury derailed those plans and threw his status as a top-tier selection into serious jeopardy.

Faced with the prospect of being a low first round pick, Tagovailoa began publicly pondering returning to Alabama for one more year.

After a lot of chatter and speculation, Tagovailoa announced that he would reveal a final decision regarding his future on Monday, January 6.

According to WVTM-TV college football insider Kyle Burger, Tagovailoa will not hold a press conference to announce his status.

Instead, Tagovailoa will make his announcement personally on social media.

Thus far, there is no clear indication on what direction Tagovailoa is leaning in with his decision.

Last week, former Alabama quarterback and current SEC Network analyst Greg McElroy said that there was a “real possibility” Tagovailoa would return to the Crimson Tide.

Barring some sort of last-minute change of plans, fans should get an answer one way or another come tomorrow.
