Tom Brady Has One Goal With Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady has one goal in mind with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He wants to change the standard with his new team.

In his two decades with the New England Patriots, Brady helped turn the franchise in the gold standard of the NFL. With his three or so years in Tampa Bay, he would like to do something similar to the Buccaneers.

“When Brady finally talked to the Buc braintrust on Wednesday—Licht first, then Arians, in a call that lasted longer than an hour—the strongest impression he left with them had a Belichickian tone,” Peter King wrote.

“However long he stays in Tampa Bay—two years, three years or more—Brady wants to help the organization push one common goal. ‘The standard,’ he called it.

“Brady wants to help Arians reinforce his standard of excellence in Tampa. At times during the call, it almost felt like Brady was recruiting them, not the other way around.”

If Brady is ultimately lead the Buccaneers to their first Super Bowl since 2002, he will undoubtedly go down as the greatest NFL player of all time.
