Todd Gurley Signing With Dolphins or Falcons?
Todd Gurley is signing with the Miami Dolphins or Atlanta Falcons, it seems. On Thursday, the Los Angeles Rams released him.
The three-time Pro Bowler was cut by his old team half an hour before he was due to receive $10.5 million in guarantees. Following his release, multiple teams expressed interest in signing the veteran.
One of those teams seemed to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are currently riding high after signing quarterback Tom Brady. The Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts seem to have interest in Gurley as well.
That being said, according to ESPN NFL analyst Adam Schefter, the two teams who “showed the most interest” in Gurley are the Falcons and Dolphins.
When the Rams shopped RB Todd Gurley in recent weeks, the two teams that showed the most interest were the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons, per source.

“When the Rams shopped RB Todd Gurley in recent weeks, the two teams that showed the most interest were the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons,” he reported.
Gurley to either destination would make a lot of sense. Atlanta parted ways with longtime running back Devonta Freeman earlier this past week. Miami, meanwhile, is pretty much relying on the newly-acquired Jordan Howard to guide their running game.
Last year, Howard recorded 525 yards and six touchdowns in 10 outings for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Where will Gurley ultimately end up? We should find out at some point in the next day or so.
