Titans Fans Accuse Chiefs On Cheating In Win
Titans fans accused the Chiefs of cheating in their win on Sunday.
One particular sequence of events during this weekend’s AFC Championship Game showdown between Kansas City and Tennessee has earned the ire of the latter organization’s supporters.
Up 35-24 and just under four minutes remaining, the Chiefs faced a 3rd and 10 from their own 19-yard line.
At that moment, quarterback Patrick Mahomes stepped up and threw a long pass to wide receiver Mecole Hardman. Tennessee corner Tramaine Brock ultimately ended up breaking up the attempt.
Unfortunately for the Titans, officials immediately threw their flags down.
Brock was called for pass interference, which gave them a first down and pushed them to Titans territory.
As a result of that call, Kansas City was able to run two more minutes off the clock.

A lot of Titans fans disagreed with the ruling on the field. Moreover, they believe that the extension of that particular drive enabled the Chiefs to steal a victory that they otherwise might have been able to prevent.
Just like that, Tennessee’s spectacular postseason run has come to an end.
Next up for the Chiefs: a Super Bowl showdown against the winner of Sunday’s San Francisco 49ers vs Green Bay Packers NFC title game.
