The Texans vs Chiefs winner is clear, according to ESPN.

Houston came within one quarter of not playing this weekend. The Buffalo Bills were absolutely dominating the Texans for three-fourths of the action last Saturday before Bill O’Brien’s squad finally got it together.

With memories of that outing still fresh in everyone’s minds, the Chiefs have opened as pretty hefty favorites going into this weekend.

According to ESPN’s computer model, Kansas City has an 81.5 percent chance of emerging victorious when it’s all said and done.

That being said, it is worth remembering that the Texans can be very dangerous.

J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus combined for 13 pressures against the Bills last weekend. Three of those happened at the end of the game and ultimately swayed the outing in Houston’s favor.

Will Fuller should also be active in this one, and he will provide a huge boost to quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Watson was spectacular against Buffalo despite being terrorized by that defense all game long. It remains to be seen if similar issues will follow him with the Chiefs’ defense.

Watson will need to have a big game. You are not going to beat a Patrick Mahomes-led group scoring 22 points.

Mahomes will likely have a big day, so what will likely ultimately decide this outing is whether Houston’s offense can keep up.
