Texans Firing Bill O’Brien?

Are the Texans preparing to fire Bill O’Brien? That is the direction things are trending in, according to recent reports.

ESPN NFL analyst Jeff Darlington appeared on Get Up this week and suggested that O’Brien’s days with Houston may be numbered at this point.

“The interesting part about this is that we talked about the offseason (and) this is really an extension of when Bill O’Brien became the general manager — even in an unofficial capacity, before this season started — trading for Laremy Tunsil, getting a first-round pick to do so,” Darlington said.

“That becomes the question — will Bill O’Brien, in his efforts and attempts to change the culture with the Texans, get enough time as the general manager to do that?

“Because he is squarely on the hot seat at this point, despite the fact that he only has one losing season since he joined the team in 2014.”

Will O’Brien really be fired? Time will tell.
