Teams Still Interested In Colin Kaepernick Revealed

The teams still interested in Colin Kaepernick have been revealed.

Kaepernick, 32, held his highly anticipated workout this Saturday.

Originally the workout was supposed to take place at the Atlanta Falcons’ stadium, with 24 NFL teams set to be represented.

Kaepernick, feeling like the NFL was not being fair to him, decided to call an audible and move the workout to a location 60 miles away.

Surely enough, while a ton of media members opted to make the hike to the new locale, most of the NFL teams set to appear did not.

When it was all said and done, only seven teams were interested enough in Kaepernick to make the trek 60 miles away from the originally scheduled location.

Those teams?

The Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Tennessee Titans and Washington Redskins.

Of those teams, the Lions and Chiefs are set at quarterback. The Jets, Eagles and 49ers all have relatively young passing talent that they are trying to groom. And the Redskins? Well, for better or worse, they are going to try to see what they have in Dwayne Haskins.

That leaves the Titans.

Tennessee will obviously need to evaluate quarterbacks during the offseason now that the Marcus Mariota Era has officially come to an end.

Does that mean they will go after Kaepernick? No.

Could they stand to benefit from giving him a closer look? Probably.
