TCU Cheerleader Video Goes Viral Before Georgia Game
Tensions couldn’t be higher heading into Monday night’s college football title game between Georgia and TCU.
On paper, the Bulldogs have all the talent necessary to become the first repeat champs since 2011. Stetson Bennett should carve up the Horned Frogs’ spotty defense. Georgia’s versatile secondary should be able to get a handle on Max Duggan and Quinten Johnston.
But there is a reason games aren’t played on paper.
TCU seems to have a special something about them this year. Will it result in their first title since 1939? It’s unclear. But everyone feels it. Even the cheerleaders.
This week, ahead of the National Championship Game, the cheerleading squad posted a video to social media:

Fans ate it up.
“Love the video,” one person wrote. “So epic.”
“One more [win],” another fan added.
“Congratulations too, to the cheer team, who were amazing, as always,” a third fan wrote.
To say that TCU stands behind its cheerleaders would be an understatement. The reactions that all their posts get on social media are evidence enough of that:

Georgia’s cheerleaders’ photos from this week also caused something of a stir, but not like the Horned Frogs’ dancing squad did.
A lot of people feel Michigan was cheated out of a win versus TCU. That the Wolverines deserve to be where the Horned Frogs currently are.
But it’s hard to read too much into that. And if TCU really wants to silence the haters, beating Georgia would go a long way in doing that.

Yes, the Bulldogs’ secondary is fierce. But Marvin Harrison Jr. roasted them quite nicely in their last outing. There will be room for Johnston to do work – presuming he can rise to the occasion.
Will TCU be able to shock the world on Monday and pull out that ever-elusive National Championship Game victory?
Time will tell.
