Steve Kerr Gets Brutally Honest About Warriors

Steve Kerr got brutally honest about the Golden State Warriors recently. In his estimation, the 2017 version of his team with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant was the best of the dynasty.

“The combination of talent, two-way abilities with having so many players capable of playing both ends of the floor and the motivation that came with losing in the Finals the year before and the motivation for Kevin to win his first championship — it was all in the mix,” he said.

“It was brand new for him and so, as a group, we were so fresh and excited to be there. There were no distractions. It was just us playing basketball.”

That 2017 team was coming off a 3-1 blown NBA Finals lead in 2016 and was on absolute mission. They won the championship that season following 67-win regular season campaign.
