Steve Kerr Gets Brutally Honest About Warriors Sucking

Steve Kerr got brutally honest about the Golden State Warriors sucking in his recent comments.

On Sunday, the Warriors lost in blowout fashion for the second consecutive time when they fell to a young Oklahoma City Thunder team 120-92.

At halftime, OKC led the game 70-37.

Just three days earlier, in the Warriors’ season opener, they were blown out by the Los Angeles Clippers 141-122.

After that Clippers loss, Kerr insisted that all involved would have to get used a new reality as the team was in something of a transition – but even he likely did not anticipate two straight blowouts in this fashion.

When pressed for a reaction to his team’s early season struggles, Kerr attempted to keep it light.

“I’m looking forward to the Modelo that’s waiting in my locker,” he joked.

While Kerr’s upbeat attitude is admirable, you have to wonder how long they will last.

Although starting the year off against the Clippers is tough and nobody can fault them for that loss, the same excuse does not exist for OKC.

The Warriors did not need to win that game, but they should have been far more competitive.

Will Kerr be able to turn his team’s troubles around?

Time will tell.
