Steelers QBs Involved In Bachelor Love Triangle With Hannah Ann Sluss?

The Pittsburgh Steelers were in for an interesting season no matter what, but a recent development may have turned things up a notch.

This past Sunday, Pittsburgh signed Josh Dobbs off waivers. The 25-year-old was originally drafted by the Steelers back in 2017 and spent two years with the organization before linking up with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Unfortunately, the Jaguars released him this weekend – freeing him up to go back to Pittsburgh.

Why is Dobbs landing with the Steelers notable? Because his new teammate and fellow backup quarterback, Mason Rudolph, has a common love connection with him: former ‘Bachelor’ contestant Hannah Ann Sluss.

Sluss was one of the more memorable characters from this past season of The Bachelor, ultimately getting together with and then subsequently breaking up with Peter Weber.

The Sluss-Weber union fell apart due to the latter’s feelings for finalist Madison Prewett.

Back in March, Dobbs and Sluss were photographed out together. A month later, she was spotted with Rudolph at a Los Angeles hotspot in what TMZ described as a “lovey-dovey” situation.

It remains to be seen if there will be any awkwardness in the locker room between Rudolph and Dobbs as a result of their mutual history.

For what it is worth – the Steelers don’t seem to think so.

The organization waived Devlin “Duck” Hodges to make room for Dobbs, so clearly they expect him to be able to bring something of value to the table.

Back during his first run, Dobbs played in five games and completed 6 of 12 passes for 43 yards.

The hope for all involved within the Steelers locker room is that starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will return to full health this year and that neither Rudolph nor Dobbs will need to get any meaningful playing time.

Pittsburgh kicks its season off next Monday with a showdown against the New York Giants.
