Steelers’ Kenny Pickett Trying To Hide Tiny Hands In Photos?

The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Kenny Pickett with the 20th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He was the first quarterback off the board and is the prospect many regarded as having a franchise player level ceiling.

That being said, one thing has continued to haunt Pickett over the past year: his tiny hand size. It came in at 8.5 inches at the NFL Combine, smaller than any starting quarterback in the league.

The topic has been a big enough point of conversation to where not only has his girlfriend had to comment on it, but so has Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.

This week, eagle-eyed observers noticed something interesting about Pickett’s photos: he really seems to hide his tiny, tiny hands in a lot of them. The evidence speaks for itself:

Is this a purposeful action? The world will never know.

Big picture, Pickett was extremely successful at Pitt. He amassed a mark of 32-17 as a starter and holds the record for the most 300-yard passing outings and 400-yard passing outings in program’s history.

The kid has legit potential. And he clearly has as much game off the field as he does on it.

Will his hand size hinder Pickett in any substantive way come the 2022-23 NFL season?

Time will tell.
