Stanford Loses Star To NCAA Transfer Portal

Stanford lost a star to the NCAA Transfer Portal recently.

Quarterback KJ Costello, widely regarded as one of the conference’s standout passers, is moving on.

A former All Pac 12 quarterback, Costello is reportedly now contemplating where he wants to spend his final year of eligibility.

Last week, Costello was viewed as someone who might transfer to Mississippi State following the hiring of Mike Leach.

Leach’s offenses obviously are appealing to passers who are looking to showcase their skills to a wide audience.

This week, a new contender has emerged.

Costello is reportedly visiting Jimmy Lake and the Huskies on Tuesday.

If Costello does opt to link up with Washington, the program would immediately catapult to the top of the conference.

A final decision on where Costello is going should come at some point in the next few weeks.
