Sofia Franklyn Responds To Dave Portnoy, Barstool Sports, Call Her Daddy
Sofia Franklyn has been the subject of a lot of speculation and ridicule in recent weeks.
Franklyn has been at the center of an ongoing between with Dave Portnoy and Barstool Sports over the future of her now former podcast, Call Her Daddy.
For months she and her one-time co-host, Alex Cooper, haggled with Portnoy and Barstool over new contract terms. Her decisions were reportedly guided in at least some capacity by her boyfriend and HBO exec, Peter Nelson.
Ultimately, Cooper decided to split from Franklyn and negotiate a new Barstool deal for herself. As a result, she is now the lone host of Call Her Daddy and returned to action this past week.
In response to Cooper’s reemergence and the hate she has been getting online this week, Franklyn updated her Instagram profile with a message to everyone.
“Basic, greedy, lazy, submissive, weak-minded, unable to think for myself, and that’s just a little bit about me,” she wrote.
How will this saga between Franklyn, Cooper, Call Her Daddy, Barstool and Portnoy end? Time will tell.
