Luka Doncic has been a man possessed ever since his Dallas Mavericks got a taste of what it feels like to almost make the NBA Finals.
Unlike summers past where he has allowed himself to get fat and out of shape, Doncic has continuously worked on his body thus far in the offseason – to tremendous results.
The photos of how skinny he has looked on vacation speak for themselves.
As does the impact his new physique has had on his game. Doncic has been killing it in international play so far this summer, and this week was no exception.
In a friendly between Slovenia and Turkey, Doncic went off to the tune of 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists.
The highlights largely speak for themselves:

When it was all said and done, Slovenia prevailed 104-103.
Doncic has made it no secret that he committed to making one big offseason change this summer. That, coupled with his unguardable new shot, will make him an absolute menace in 2022-23.
It’s easy to forget that Doncic is just 23 years old. He has barely scratched the surface of his potential as a basketball player and what he can ultimately accomplish with the Mavericks.
And while losing Jalen Brunson will inevitably hurt Dallas to some degree, the addition of Christian Wood should pay massive dividends.

Last year Doncic led the Mavs to the NBA Western Conference Finals.
Are the NBA Finals within reach this year?
Time will tell.
