Should LeBron James Be Suspended For Dirty Mikal Bridges Play? (Video)

A scary moment occurred during Friday night’s showdown between the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns.

Midway through the first quarter Mikal Bridges blew past LeBron James for an easy lay-up, but appeared to be undercut by the Lakers star. As a result, he took a terrifying tumble that saw him land on his back and neck.

Needless to say, fans had some reactions.

At the time of the play, Bridges had 5 points and 2 rebounds. He ended up briefly exiting the game, before returning to finish with 10 points and 2 rebounds in 27 minutes of action.

LA ultimately ended up prevailing on Friday night, earning a 114-113 victory.

Anthony Davis finished with 35 points and 6 rebounds, while James chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Talen Horton-Tucker put up 15 points and 12 points, respectively.

On the Phoenix side, Devin Booker led the way with 27 points and 5 rebounds, while Jevon Carter, Jae Crowder and Deandre Ayton all chipped in 12 points apiece.

After the game, there was minimal talk about Bridges’ fall or James’ role in it. Based on that, it’s probably fair to assume that a suspension is not incoming.

Is that fair?

That’s for each individual fan to decide on their own.
