Shaq Bashes Kobe In Response To Comment About Being Lazy
Shaquille O’Neal did not take kindly to Kobe Bryant’s recent comments referring to him as “lazy.”
During a recent interview with Patrick Bet-David at the PHP Agency Convention in Las Vegas, Bryant said that if O’Neal had stayed in shape more consistently and remained his teammate, the Los Angeles Lakers likely would have 12 championships.
“I wish he was in the gym!” Bryant remarked.
“I would’ve had 12 f*cking rings!”
Beyond the fact that his personal resume would have been bolstered, Bryant believes that O’Neal remaining with the Lakers and being consistently in shape would have resulted in him going down as the greatest player of all time.
“He’d be the greatest of all time,” Bryant said plainly.
O’Neal did not take kindly to this critique of his work ethic.
In one comment, O’Neal wrote: “U woulda had twelve if you passed the ball more especially in the finals against the pistons #Facts.”
“You don’t get statues by not working hard” he continued.
Bryant for his part responded with this tweet: “There is no beef with @SHAQ I know most media want to see it but it ain’t gonna happen. Ain’t nothin but love there and we too old to beef anyway #3peat”
