Three weeks after his 36th birthday, Sean McVay reached another milestone: becoming the youngest coach in NFL history to win a Super Bowl.

Sunday’s Super Bowl victory didn’t mark McVay’s best play-calling performance, but in the end he was able to guide his squad to the one destination they’ve had their eye on since the preseason: championship glory.

In the face of indescribable pressure, with his team down late in the fourth quarter, McVay found a way to remain composed and call the plays that would eventual win the game for his Los Angeles Rams. One reason why? Because of the stability his fiancée, Veronika Khomyn, has instilled in him.

Earlier this week both parties revealed the creative way in which she relieves his stress – and that dynamic was on full display this weekend.

Khomyn was there with McVay every step of the way on Sunday. Right down to her outfit choice:

Khomyn has come to be a very important character among NFL girlfriends in recent years. Her provocative social media stories routinely blow up and go viral.

As do her general Instagram posts:

Given that Khomyn doesn’t pose for the type of provoking photos that Olivia Culpo always goes for and has never gotten her beau’s name on her butt like Dak Prescott’s girlfriend Natalie Buffett memorably did, her following social media is actually quite remarkable.

It will be interesting to see where McVay goes from here. If he retires, then that’s it – he will be out of the limelight for a while.

But should he choose to stay, then both him and Khomyn will likely continue to become increasingly popular figures in pop culture.
