A Scott Steiner health update was released by his family following a scary situation at Friday night’s Impact Wrestling TV taping.

According to multiple reports, the 57-year-old wrestling legend collapsed and had to be transported to a local hospital. Steiner is reportedly currently still recovering there.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Steiner fell during pre-taping and was immediately helped by paramedics. He was subsequently rushed to the emergency room.

As of this time, no cause for the medical emergency has been offered.

According to Scott D’Amore, Steiner is currently “OK” and “his family is grateful for everybody’s concern and support.

Tommy Dreamer echoed those sentiments, saying that Steiner is “doing well” and “under great care.”

Steiner made his Impact debut back in 2006. In his most recent appearances, he has teamed with Petey Williams at the promotion’s August ‘Unbreakable’ event.

According to PWInsider, Steiner will have a heart procedure at some point on Saturday.

More details should be provided once the procedure occurs.
