Sam Ponder is one of the most respected sports broadcasters of her generation and arguably the face of ESPN’s NFL gameday coverage.
Her prominent role in all-things football during the season has made her something of a cultural phenomenon, too.
This week Ponder found herself trending for something of an interesting reason: her bold outfit choice.
The imagery largely speaks for itself:
“This is the best outfit you have worn ever,” one fan wrote. “An amazing wide leg pant suit is by far the best look for you!!!!! Plus suits are totally the style of the fall/winter!”
And that wasn’t an isolated opinion.
“Loved your outfit today,” another fan added.
“Love this outfit and your work,” a third chimed in.
Ponder isn’t the only broadcaster to blow up online for something like this in recent weeks. Erin Andrews’ outfit for her memorable Cooper Rush interview also left quite the impression.
As did Charissa Thompson’s choice of attire on that abomination Thursday Night Football match-up fans endured last week.
Ponder, meanwhile, is also something of a mainstay in the headlines. Her honest take on rookie Malik Willis was pretty memorable. As is just her general Instagram content:

With the NFL season in full swing, this likely isn’t going to be the last time Ponder sets the internet ablaze. She just has a knack for it – which probably explains all the success she has had up to this point.
