Sam Ponder’s outfit caused something of a stir on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown this week.
Heading into the new football season, all eyes were on the Worldwide Leader in Sports and how they would ultimately cover the start of the 2023-24 NFL campaign.
Ponder, one of the most respected sports broadcasters in the game, was back in action this year along with former head coach-turned-ESPN personality Rex Ryan.
In honor of the new season, Ponder and Ryan decided to do something a little special with their outfits.
It didn’t take long for Ponder’s photo of the pair’s outfits to go viral on social media.

But obviously ESPN is the Worldwide Leader in Sports for a reason. That gives Ponder a lot more reach than some of her counterparts.
What will Ponder ultimately go viral for next as the 2023 NFL season moves along? Time will tell.
