Ryan Day Lands Major Star For Ohio State

Ryan Day landed a major star for Ohio State this week.

On Saturday, four-star defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr. announced that he would be committing to the Buckeyes for their 2021 class.

Needless to say, that is absolutely huge.

Hall is a stud. He has all the physical and instinctual attributes you look for at the next level.

Standing at six-foot-two and 290 pounds, Hall is currently ranked as the No. 19 defensive tackle prospect in the country.

Despite getting a ton of offers from multiple major programs, he ultimately felt like Ohio State was the only way to go.

To date, Hall is the Buckeyes’ 10th commitment of the 2021 class.

The headliner of that group is five-star defensive end Jack Sawyer.

At the moment, Ohio State currently has the top ranked class going into next year.

Hall made the big announcement via social media.

“I never thought this day would come but on behalf of me and my family I am committed to The Ohio State University…Go Bucks,” he wrote on Twitter.

Ohio State made the College Football Playoff last season and ultimately lost in controversial fashion to Clemson in the opening round.

A lot of people believe the Buckeyes should have won that game.

With quarterback Justin Fields returning and a frontrunner for the Heisman, Ohio State figures to be ranked in the top two or three in all the major polls heading into 2020-21.
