Rumor About Timberwolves’ D’Angelo Russell And GF Goes Viral

Minnesota Timberwolves guard D’Angelo Russell is in the midst of a competitive showdown against the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

As things presently stand, the Wolves and Grizzlies are tied at two wins apiece in the best-of-seven series.

Although Russell hasn’t been great in the playoffs up to this point, he is still instrumental to Minnesota’s offense and a key component of any aspirations the team may have to advance in the postseason.

This week, a surprising rumor emerged about Russell.

According to reports, the Wolves guard and his girlfriend, Laura Ivaniukas, might be expecting their first child.

Ivaniukas, a Canadian model, has been dating Russell for quite some time. The pair’s now-infamous Las Vegas partying photos went mega-viral a little while back – and the two have been seemingly inseparable ever since.

In addition to just being Russell’s beau and possibly the mother of his future child, Ivaniukas also boasts nearly 50,000 followers on Instagram. She routinely goes viral for posts like this:

If Russell is in fact expecting his first child, it would explain why he has been a little off in this Grizzlies series.

Overall, Minnesota and Memphis have provided fans with one of the most entertaining series of the first round. Sure, there have been some dirty plays and questionable decisions made, but by and large – it has been a fun back-and-forth battle.

Who will ultimately emerge from it victorious? Will Russell eventually get his mojo back?

Time will tell.
