Philadelphia Phillies Fans Get Intimate At MLB Game (Video)

A pair of Philadelphia Phillies fans made their own fun at a recent MLB game.

Philly, who is currently 18-19 for the season and presently sits third in the NL East, hasn’t been particularly impressive to start the year.

Most recently the Phillies are 4-6 over their last 10 games and 7-12 when playing outside of Citizens Bank Park.

Because of how ho-hum their team has been so far in 2023, fans have been forced to make their own fun at outings. And that is precisely what a pair of enterprising Philly fans did this week.

Phillies fans, and MLB fans as a whole, are generally a pretty outspoken bunch.

As such, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to anyone that reactions to this poured in immediately.

Big picture, people going wild at baseball games isn’t exactly a new phenomenon. A Toronto Blue Jays fan made headlines earlier this year for her wild video, too. This most recent video is just par for the course.

Fans now live in a world where the sport they are watching and the athletes participating are no longer enough to keep them engaged. That is why a Miami Dolphins’ provocative photos went viral this week. It’s the social media effect.

Philly fan shenanigans aside, it will be interesting to see how the Phillies fight back after this slow start.

On paper, the team still has enough talent to sit atop the NL East. But they will have to beat out the Atlanta Braves, New York Mets and Florida Marlins to do it.

Will the Phillies give their fans an on-the-field product worth paying attention to at some point this season? Time will tell.
