The Philadelphia Eagles have been the best team in the NFL this year by a fairly substantial margin.
In a season where the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and Washington Commanders have all taken a noticeable step forward – Philly continues to reign supreme in the NFC East.
The Eagles haven’t been limited to simply making headlines for their on-the-field exploits, though. They’ve also been in the news for some off-the-field stuff as well.
Case in point: a series of photos involving the team cheerleaders.
Earlier this week, a picture with the cheerleading squad and the 131st Bomb Wing of the Missouri Air National Guard went mega-viral. Fans absolutely loved it, responding with fire emojis and countless likes:
Earlier in the season, the Eagles’ cheerleaders also paid tribute to the troops with this gesture:

This has been a pretty crazy year for cheerleaders both at the pro and collegiate levels. Between fans getting busted taking provocative photos of them, Coach O behaving the way you’d expect around them and that now-infamous fight video – it has been one thing after another.
In that respect, it is nice to see the Eagles’ squad go viral for something really positive and meaningful.
Big picture, it will be fascinating to see how this season shakes out for Philly. Nobody expected them to be this good this fast with Jalen Hurts.
Over the next few weeks match-ups against the Giants, Chicago Bears, Cowboys, New Orleans Saints and Giants (again) loom. There is a very realistic scenario where, barring injuries or something crazy happening, they go 4-1 or 3-2 in that stretch.
Assuming the losses don’t pile up at the end of the year, they should enter the playoffs with a ton of momentum.

From there – anything can happen.
Will the Eagles’ cheerleaders find themselves doing their thing at the Super Bowl this year?
An answer should emerge soon enough.
