Dustin Johnson won the 2020 Masters at Augusta National in impressive fashion this past Sunday.

Despite a slow start to the event, the 36-year-old came back when it mattered most to finish with the lowest score in the tournament’s storied history.

Johnson eventually tapped in for par on the 18th for a 4-under 68 to finish at 20-under 268. In the process, he shattered by two shots the record set by Tiger Woods in 1997 and matched by Jordan Spieth in 2015.

Shortly after his big win, Johnson went on a celebratory tour with his fiancée, Paulina Gretzky. This week, videos and photos emerged on social media of the pair going all out.

Johnson and Gretzky initially met back in 2009, when he came over for a family dinner after being paired with Gretzky’s mom Janet in a pro-am.

The two did not go on their first date until 2012. For whatever reason, something just felt right.

Despite some trials and tribulations throughout their journey together, Johnson and Gretzky stuck it out and eventually welcomed two kids, Tatum in 2015 and River in 2017.

Their love was on full display last Sunday, when Johnson celebrated his big Masters victory.

“It’s a dream come true. As a kid you always dreamed about becoming a Masters champion,” Johnson said of his Masters win last weekend while fighting back tears.

“It’s just incredible, obviously, as you can tell.”

Johnson has quietly become one of the best and most consistent golfers of the decade. By any objective measure, both in golf and life, the guy’s a winner.
