Paul Finebaum Makes Surprising Prediction For LSU vs Florida

Paul Finebaum made a surprising prediction for LSU vs. Florida this weekend.

While appearing on SportsCenter this past Tuesday, Finebaum indicated that this Saturday’s battle between the Tigers and Gators would have serious implications for both schools.

When pressed on who he ultimately believe will emerge from the showdown victorious, Finebaum said that that he would have to give LSU the nod to get it done at home.

“I think in the end, the offense of LSU is going to get the nod,” Finebaum said.

“Joe Burrow has been unbelievable.

“ He was at Ohio State a couple years ago, trying to beat out Dwayne Haskins for the job.

“That feels like forever (ago).

“This offense for LSU is as good as I have ever seen,” he added.

“The defense is not quite as good and the Florida defense has only given up one touchdown drive this year in the first game of the season, but in the end, I like Tiger Stadium at night.”

Despite not being Finebaum’s pick, Florida comes into this game fresh off a very impressive win over a previously unbeaten Auburn squad.

That is a lot of momentum that LSU will have to figure out how to deal with.

Florida-LSU is set for 8 p.m. ET Saturday night from Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, live on ESPN.
