Overweight Robert Nkemdiche Cannot Run Across Football Field (Photo)
An overweight Robert Nkemdiche cannot run across a football field any more, it appears.
The Miami Dolphins recently decided to take a chance on the former defensive tackle that the Arizona Cardinals spent a first round pick on back in 2016.
The bet did not pay off.
Unfortunately, the same sort of issues that cut his time with Arizona short are creeping back into the equation with Miami.

As reported by Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, Nkemdiche attempted to run gassers before the Dolphins’ preseason outing on Thursday night and could not even complete half of one.
Raekwon McMillan, Jakeem Grant, DeVante Parker, Kenyan Drake and Reshad Jones are all part of tonight’s early workout crew, which is usually comprised of guys who won’t play. I think that’s Robert Nkemdiche in the orange shirt but unsure. pic.twitter.com/VdskQIAtvm

That is bad news for anyone hoping for a career resurgence.
The Dolphins ultimately ended up winning Thursday’s preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars 22-7.
