Oklahoma Star Jalen Hurts Switching To Wide Receiver?
Is Oklahoma star Jalen Hurts switching to wide receiver?
That is the main question on people’s minds as the young quarterback attempts to carve out a place for himself in the NFL.
Hurts played at Alabama and Oklahoma over the course of his college career, enjoying immense success at both institutions.
Following a successful stint with the Sooners and Lincoln Riley this past year, Hurts’ stock appeared to be at an all-time high.
Unfortunately, Hurts did not play particularly well in College Football Playoff against LSU, and his performance at this week’s Senior Bowl has left many underwhelmed.
As such, questions have arisen regarding whether perhaps he would be willing to change positions to play at the NFL level.

When presented with this question, Hurts’ response was blunt:
“I’ve always been a team first guy, but I’m a quarterback,” he said.
The top quarterbacks available in this year’s draft are obviously LSU’s Joe Burrow, Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa and Oregon’s Justin Herbert.
From there, it is anyone’s guess.
Hurts will likely be able to earn himself a mid-to-late round selection as a quarterback, but if it does not work out, he may be forced to change positions.
