Oklahoma And Alabama Star Jalen Hurts Has Bad Day At Senior Bowl

Oklahoma and Alabama star Jalen Hurts had a bad day at the Senior Bowl on Tuesday.

This week Hurts is arguably the biggest and most notable name to participate in the 2020 Senior Bowl. The event is a way for seniors to showcase their skills before the NFL Combine.

A former standout at Alabama and Oklahoma, many were curious to see how Hurts would perform on this stage.

Unfortunately, the first day did not go particularly well for the young quarterback.

“It’s Day 1 but Jalen Hurts is really struggling with placement,” tweeted out Matt Miller of Bleacher Report.

Miller was not alone in that assessment.

“Jalen Hurts has not looked good today in practice,” noted Nicholas Moreano of Chicago Audible.

“Seems to be a lot of miscommunication and inaccurate throws when he is in at QB.”

Fortunately, Hurts was able to put together a few highlights on the day.

Hurts began last season as one of the frontrunners for the Heisman.

Although he ultimately did not win it, he had a tremendous season with the Sooners that culminated with the program making it to the College Football Playoff.

It remains to be seen where Hurts ultimately goes in the 2020 NFL Draft.
