Ohio State Loses Star Ahead Of Clemson Game

Ohio State loses a star ahead of the Clemson game.

In early December, high school star turned Buckeyes safety Brendon White announced he was entering the transfer portal.

According to a recent post on social media, it appears he found a landing spot.

In a Twitter post, White announced that he would be transferring to Rutgers next season.

With the switch, White will reunite with Greg Schiano, who served on the Buckeyes coaching staff as defensive coordinator from 2017 to 2018.

Under Schiano’s tutelage in 2018 White thrived. Unfortunately, this past season his role was heavily minimized and he played only 176 snaps.

In 2017 White came out as a four-star prospect, No. 3 ranked athlete in the country and No. 2 prospect out of the state of Ohio.

His addition will obviously be a huge one for a Rutgers program that is desperately trying to reclaim its former glory.
