Ohio State Issues New Health Update For Justin Fields

Ohio State issued a new health update for Justin Fields.

The Buckeyes have boasted a very balanced attack all season long.

On defense, behind Chase Young, they have been as tenacious as any team in college football.

Offensively, Fields’ versatility has been key in helping Ohio State out-gun some of the team’s biggest Big Ten rivals.

In order for this program to successfully meet its goal of winning a National Championship, Ohio State needs to have a balanced attack.

Unfortunately, it looks like that will be a tough feat for them to accomplish.

Fields has been slowed down with a knee injury for several weeks now and admitted recently that he is unlikely to be at 100 percent by the time the Clemson game rolls around.

“My knee’s probably not where I want it to be right now,” he said.

“But I think with treatment every day and just resting it every day, hopefully, it will be better by the game.”

In Fields’ estimation, he will likely be somewhere between 80 and 85 percent healthy by Saturday.

On Wednesday, Fields was spotted wearing a knee brace at practice.

Although Fields has been practicing all week, he has acknowledged being limited in mobility.

“I try to get as many reps as possible,” he said.

“I really haven’t missed any reps, I’ve just been getting in there and playing. I just can’t really move like I want to.”

Will Fields at 80 to 85 percent be enough to topple the defending champs? We’ll get out answer come Saturday.
