Odell Beckham’s Girlfriend’s Role In Picking His Next NFL Team

Odell Beckham’s Girlfriend’s Role In Picking His Next NFL Team

Odell Beckham Jr. is currently one of the hottest free agents in the NFL.

Rather than rush back from his torn ACL in the summer, Beckham wisely decided to nurse himself back to health and allow the 2022-23 season to play itself out first.

Not only did that allow him to rehabilitate his injury properly, it also turned Beckham into a far more wanted commodity.

These days, five teams are thought to be extremely interested in him: the Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers.

The Los Angeles Rams are also somewhat in the running, but less so.

In recent days, many have begun to think about Beckham’s girlfriend, Lauren Wood.

It is worth remembering, Wood has had a prominent role in helping Beckham pick his teams in the past. He was very close to signing with the Green Bay Packers last year, only to choose L.A. in part because of her.

History could repeat itself this time around.

Wood has a prominent place in the larger cultural zeitgeist herself. She boasts nearly 2 million followers on Instagram and routinely blows up for posts like this:

The fact that she and Beckham now have a child together is all the more reason for their interests on his next team to align.

Beckham showed last year he’s still got it when he is healthy. There is a reason why he looked like he was on his way to winning the Super Bowl MVP award before he got hurt.

He could really help a squad out.

As of late Beckham has primarily been making headlines for bringing two dates to a basketball game and his various bedroom preferences, but he still has a lot left in the tank as a player.

He just needs the opportunity to show it.

Which team will give him that chance?

Time will tell.
