Odell Beckham sent a gift to LSU before the Clemson game.

Heading into Monday night’s National Championship, alums are going all out to show support for their programs.

Beckham was LSU’s superstar wide receiver eight years ago when the school last contended for a national title. In that outing, the Tigers ultimately fell to Alabama 21-0.

This time around, Beckham is hoping for a different result.

As LSU gets ready to take on Clemson in the Superdome, the Cleveland Browns receiver sent his old school some gifts for the players and a very special message.

“This is your opportunity to leave behind a legacy and write yourself into the history books, not just as the undefeated national champions but as legends,” he wrote in his note.

“You’re here for a reason, now make it count.”

Along with his note Beckham included brand new Beats headphones.

LSU is going into Monday night as a six-point favorite over Clemson. Much of that is due to the dominant fashion in which they beat down Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl.

Will this year’s LSU squad be able to bring home the college football championship that eluded Beckham? We’re less than a week away from getting our answer.
