A recent encounter between Vanessa Bryant and Los Angeles Sparks head coach Derek Fisher caught Twitter’s attention this week.
The incident in question occurred at the 2021 WNBA All-Star Game in Las Vegas.
For obvious reasons, both Bryant and Fisher were prominently covered when the cameras panned to famous people in the stands.

Part of the internet chatter stems from Fisher’s reputation. He famously got together with former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Matt Barnes’ ex-wife, Gloria Govan, leading to a physical altercation between the two men.
The likeliest outcome from all this talk is that all parties involved simply ignore it. For all anyone knows, this was just a case of two friends talking.

Plus, Bryant rarely engages in online feuds. When she was accused of lying during the Kobe Bryant Hall of Fame induction speech, she simply opted not to address the matter until it went away. Besides, she has bigger fish to fry: between saving Kobe’s fans from scams, bringing misbehaving police officers to justice and keeping her mom in line – the Bryant family patriarch tends to focus on real issues, not dumb online ones.
